Ellen Elizabeth is a singer/songwriter from San Francisco, California. Her distinctive adult contemporary alternative folk rock pop sound is all her own. “All great songs touch our heart and our spirit, music saves my soul everyday” says Ellen. Influenced by great songwriters such as The Beatles, Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Glen Phillips and her favorite poet Adam Duritz of The Counting Crows; Ellen crafts her music based on song symmetry so her songs are melodic journeys that make you want to sing along. In Ellen’s upcoming debut album, her original songs based on her own life experience and fearless pursuit of her dreams will be told. Her performances are described as intimate and engaging. She has performed at various venues all over San Francisco including The Red Devil Lounge and the CafĂ© Du Nord. She is currently involved in several music projects and also aspires to write music for film and television. In addition, she enjoys working with youth and producing kids rock bands.
